Some information about the place in the past

Formerly, the main chalet was a two storeyed hay barn with a stable downstairs. Next to it was a forge (now a small chalet).

The owner was determined not to destroy the spirit of the place; a great success is the stable downstairs both a place of memory and enjoyment.

Renovation works

They lasted for 2 years. It was possible to keep the old stable thanks to the excellent work of local craftsmen. Local wood was used (Queyras larch).

Benoît Fournier, architect from Ceillac (Queyras) gave the contemporary look with large bay windows overlooking breathtaking views of the ski area and the surrounding mountain tops.

Interior design by Virginie Dumon (L’Ane bleu, Marseille) : modern, minimalist to enhance the big volumes.
